What Employers Need to Know to Make Informed Decisions About ACA Compliance
As of January 1, 2014, employers will be subject to many new obligations under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) with respect to employer-provided health insurance. Employers who provide health insurance may find they need to offer their coverage to a broader range of their employees. Employers who do not provide health insurance coverage or provide inadequate coverage for their employees may face penalities under the "pay or play" provisions of the ACA.
In this seminar, we will address the specific ACA requirements applicable to employers depending on their size, the factors that employers should consider when making compliance decisions for their company, and what actions employers can take now that will directly affect their obligations under the ACA in 2014 and beyond.
