Attorney Robert Suarez Joins Smith Haughey's Grand Rapids Office

Robert uses his fluency in Spanish, Russian, Arabic, and French to counsel businesses and individuals in matters including immigration, commercial litigation, real estate, estate planning, and criminal matters.

In addition, Robert represents families and individuals with wrongful death and personal injury claims. He also represents veterans in proceedings involving veterans' benefit claims before the Board of Veteran Appeals. Robert is a combat Veteran and served in the United States Marine Corps and Army before being honorably discharged from active duty. He received his Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law, Bachelor of Science from Long Island University, and become a sworn law enforcement officer after attending the North Carolina SBI Academy.
