Brian is an attorney in Michigan who practices in the areas of construction law, governmental law, professional liability defense, veterans law, and general civil litigation. He represents clients throughout all phases of litigation including settlement, negotiations, document retention, e-discovery, trial preparation, motion practice, and trial as may be required for each client and case.
Brian helps clients resolve disputes, allegations, claims, and litigation involving governmental disputes and immunity, civil rights defense, property damage, personal injuries, whistle blower claims, construction defects, real estate issues, attorney-client privilege issues, and professional liability and licensing complaints before the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth and the State of Michigan Licensing Board, among others. He often counsels his clients on document retention policies and e-discovery issues. His clients include construction companies, corporations, businesses, municipalities, road commissions, and state-licensed professionals, including lawyers. Brian also will represent veterans in proceedings before the Board of Veterans Appeals in matters involving veterans benefits claims.
Brian's passion for representing veterans stems from his five years spent serving as an officer in the U.S. Army and a member of the First Infantry Division. As a detachment commander in Operation Iraqi Freedom II, Brian received a Bronze Star Medal for his actions.
In his spare time, Brian enjoys golfing, attending and watching sporting events, and spending time with his wife Stacy and two children.
