Calvin J. Sterk

Calvin J. Sterk practices appellate litigation, primarily in the area of workers' compensation. He is acutely familiar with the intricacies of the appellate process having spent the majority of his legal career as a research attorney in the state and federal courts, most recently as a Commissioner of the Michigan Supreme Court and previously as a career law clerk to the Honorable Richard F. Suhrheinrich of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

In his spare time, Calvin enjoys reading, book collecting, and wood working. He's married to Patricia Deventer and has two children: Emily and Benjamin.
