Cara L. Nieboer focuses her practice on the following areas:
- Representing hospitals, physicians, dentists and other health care providers in the defense of professional malpractice cases;
- Representing hospitals and providers specializing in health care law;
- Advising and representing physicians and hospitals on licensing and discipline matters;
- Drafting and revising corporate documents, including policies, procedures, rules, regulations, bylaws and contracts;
- Advising and representing design professionals on copyright issues.
She is also a frequent lecturer on various health and copyright law topics, including, but not limited to: charting for defense, confidentiality of medical records, electronic medical records, informed consent, peer review, minors and healthcare, transparency and disclosure in healthcare, and copyright for design professionals.
A native of Fremont, Michigan, Cara enjoys boating, biking, golfing, and other outdoor activities.
