Cathy Greer is a paralegal with Smith Haughey and has participated in the representation of clients almost exclusively in the construction law, commercial litigation, professional liability, and governmental law areas since joining the Firm in 1991. In addition to her paralegal responsibilities, she has provided overall administrative management for two of the busiest practices in the firm as well as the Real Estate Development, Government, and Construction Law Practice Group.
Specifically, Cathy's responsibilities include the participation in the formulation of strategy for litigation matters and execution of that strategy through the initiation of and response to discovery; the procurement, review, analysis, and organization of documentary evidence; and technical research. Over her years in the practice, Cathy has developed relationships with numerous consultants and experts with whom she works in the analysis and evaluation of matters and the development of litigation strategies, including the presentation of expert testimony.
By keeping up-to-date on the status of all client matters for which she has responsibility, becoming familiar with the priorities and business needs of the Firm's clients, and being accessible and responsive, Cathy participates in the execution of the firm's goal of insuring that its clients are well informed and appropriately updated with regard to the status of their matters.
