Congratulations to Our Client: Moomer's Homemade Ice Cream!
Traverse City, Mich., May 27, 2008 — Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge's client, Moomer's Homemade Ice Cream of Traverse City, Michigan, was named "Best Ice Cream Shop in America" by an ABC "Good Morning America" viewer poll.
In April, "Good Morning America" requested nominations from viewers for their favorite ice cream shop. The show then narrowed the nominations down to four finalists — Moomer's, plus ice cream shops in California, Florida, and Massachusetts — and posted a poll on its web site. On May 23, Moomer's was notified that it was the winner. "Good Morning America" then broadcasted live from Moomer's the next day.
Moomer's is a family-owned ice cream shop located on the family farm of Robert and Nancy Plummer where it is known for its fresh ingredients and warm hospitality.
