Craig S. Neckers, an attorney with the law firm of Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge, has been appointed chairman of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel's Commercial Litigation Section.
Composed of leaders in the legal community, Federation members have been judged by their peers to have achieved professional distinction, and are committed to promoting knowledge, fellowship, professionalism and the course of justice.
Mr. Neckers has been with Smith Haughey for more than 20 years and practices in the areas of business and corporate litigation, professional liability litigation, product liability, and business and corporate advising. He has lectured for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and has been a member of the faculty for ICLE's Trial Skills Advocacy Workshop. Craig also has been active in many community organizations, serving on the Board of Trustees of Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan, the Board of Trustees of the Grand Rapids Christian Schools, and the Board of Benefit Services of the Reformed Church in America.
