Franks Joins Smith Haughey's Grand Rapids Office
Grand Rapids, Mich., September 14, 2012 — Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge is pleased to announce that William H. Franks has joined the firm’s Grand Rapids office. Bill is a corporate law, banking and finance, bankruptcy and creditor’s rights lawyer in West Michigan who represents creditors in bankruptcy, workouts, and collection proceedings.
As an attorney with nearly ten years of experience, Bill is active in his profession and in the Grand Rapids community. He has held leadership positions in the Grand Rapids Bar Association, Risk Management Association, and the Humane Society of West Michigan.
Bill is licensed to practice in the state courts of Michigan and Wisconsin, and before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan and the Eastern District of Michigan. He is also licensed to practice in Bankruptcy Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Michigan. He has a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
