Harvey Named "40 Under 40" in Traverse City

Harvey, an attorney in the Traverse City office of Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge, has been named by the Traverse City Business News to their list of "40 Under 40." The list recognizes the 40 most influential people in the region under the age of 40.

     A Traverse City native, Scott focuses his legal practice in the areas of areas of business law, estate planning, trust and probate, health care law, and non-profit law. He also provides pro bono legal services to many nonprofit organizations in Traverse City, including pro bono estate planning services to Munson Hospice residents.

     Scott is active in the Traverse City community. He is Assistant Hockey Coach at Traverse City Central High School. He also works to find affordable housing for those who need it and is active with the Young Professionals Group.

     Scott earned his Bachelor's degree from Ferris State University and Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School. He is licensed to practice in the state courts of Michigan and Indiana.
