The HOLISTIC approach

The Health Care Industry Team serves as a dedicated and singular source of legal services for health care providers. We serve clients across the spectrum of the health care industry from individual doctors to large medical practices to small hospitals. We represent them in everything from labor union negotiations to the defense of federal and state civil rights claims to the formation and representation of non-profit foundations.

Our experienced health law attorneys form the core of the group, but the team also includes attorneys from other legal disciplines who have significant experience working with health care providers. All the attorneys are essential to the team because of their relevant experience – they’re not just employment or construction attorneys, for example, they’re employment and construction attorneys who have represented health care industry clients.

Our attorneys actively participate in industry associations, including the Michigan Health and Hospital Association, Michigan Medical Group Management Association, Health Care Association of Michigan, Michigan State Bar Health Law Section, and the American Health Lawyers Association. And we often speak at their local and national meetings.

We publish a blog, Michigan Health Law Link, which serves as an online legal resource for health care professionals.  On this blog, we provide weekly postings on important legal topics and offer reliable, timely, and convenient updates on legal news that relates directly to health care organizations.
