L. R. “Bud” Roegge’s practice includes the representation of health care providers and attorneys in professional liability suits and business litigation which includes environmental matters, as well as tort and contractual matters. He also serves as a facilitative mediator.
Mr. Roegge is one of the most respected trial lawyers in the state of Michigan. Among the significant accomplishments contributing to his professional prominence, was his successful defense of Michigan Chemical Company in hundreds of lawsuits brought as a result of the P.B.B. disaster in the 1970s.
In 2002, Mr. Roegge stepped down as President of Smith Haughey, after having served in that position since the law firm became a professional corporation.
