Michael J. Roberts practices primarily in the areas of construction law, architects and engineers liability, and product liability. His area of specialty is representing design professionals, including architects, structural and civil engineers, environmental and geotechnical consultants, and landscape architects. Additionally, Mike has represented contractors and manufacturers of pre-engineered products used in both commercial and residential projects. He has represented his clients in cases involving nuclear and fossil fuel generating plants, offices, condominiums, hotels, apartments, townhouses, schools, churches, manufacturing facilities, waste water treatment facilities, large scale agricultural storage facilities, and industrial and recreational parks. He also represents his clients in contract negotiation, formation, and interpretation.
Mike has lectured on product liability tort reform, design professional loss control, and the inter-relationship of contractual duties and obligation under custom and AIA standard forms of agreement.
He is married to Linda, and they have one adult son, James. In his spare time, Mike enjoys golfing, fly-fishing, and working in his vegetable and herb garden.
