New Family Law Attorney Joins Smith Haughey
Grand Rapids, Mich., Dec. 9, 2011 — Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge is pleased to announce that Michele M. Giordano has joined the firm’s Grand Rapids office as an associate attorney. She will focus her practice on representing clients in divorce, post-divorce, custody, and adoption matters.
Michele represents her clients in courtrooms throughout west Michigan in cases pertaining to child custody, adoption and divorce matters. She conducts trials and hearings on behalf of victims of domestic violence and/or child abuse. She also negotiates property division, in some cases containing multi-million dollar estates.
Michele gives back to the community by accepting pro bono cases in order to assist less privileged clients. She is also a member of the Family Law Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association and has served as an advisor to the Domestic Violence Committee of the State Bar of Michigan. Michele received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Aquinas College and a Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law.
