On December 19, 2011, Governor Snyder signed into law Public Act 266 of 2011 which substantially changes the Michigan Workers’ Disability Act. The changes to the law are intended to modernize, clarify, and stabilize Michigan workers’ compensation law in an effort to attract and keep business in Michigan.
