Scott Gordon is a litigation attorney in Traverse City who represents individuals and businesses including large corporations, small businesses, insurance companies, contractors, and retailers. His practice includes commercial litigation, construction litigation, premises liability, first-party and third-party automobile liability, insurance coverage disputes, and personal injury defense.
Prior to joining Smith Haughey, Scott worked as extern for both the Hon. David W. McKeague of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the research division of the Michigan Court of Appeals. As an extern in these courts, he provided research services to the judges on pending cases.
In his spare time, Scott enjoys biking, cooking, cheering for Michigan State University football and basketball, and music. He is a member of a rock band called The New Midwest for which he plays guitar and saxophone.
