SHRR Attorneys Earn Appointments to FDCC

Grand Rapids, Mich., August 27, 2008 - Two shareholders with the law firm of Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge have received appointments within the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC).

Todd W. Millar of the firm's Traverse City office has recently been admitted to the FDCC. Membership to this organization is restricted to those attorneys who have been judged by their peers to have achieved professional distinction, and are committed to promoting knowledge, fellowship, professionalism and the course of justice. Todd is chair of the firm's Litigation Department. He practices in the areas of business and corporate litigation, insurance defense and coverage, premises liability, products liability, negligence law, and governmental law.

Craig S. Neckers of the firm's Grand Rapids office is a long-time active member of the FDCC. He has recently been named chair of the Management, Economics and Technology Section of the organization. In addition, he has also been appointed a vice chair of the FDCC's Projects and Objectives Committee with specific responsibility as liaison between the committee and the each of the sections of the Federation. Craig practices in the areas of business and corporate litigation, legal malpractice defense, and products liability.
