SHRR Welcomes New Associate

Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge is pleased to welcome Joseph E. Belsito as a new associate. He will practice general civil litigation.

Joe received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Miami University and his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law where he graduated magna cum laude, was a managing editor of the Law Review, and received jurisprudence awards in Civil Trial Advocacy, International Sale of Goods, and Land Use Planning. While attending law school, Joe was a summer associate at Smith Haughey and a clerk for the Michigan Court of Appeals Pre-Hearing Division.

Joe's published work includes an article in the 2005 issue of the Holy Cross Journal of Law and Public Policy entitled, "Parental Fair-Procedure Interests in Child Custody Disputes: A Criticism of Michigan's Established Custodial Environment Analysis and the Temporary Custody Order."
