Smith Haughey Experiences Growth Across the State; Hires Five New Attorneys in Traverse City and Grand Rapids
Grand Rapids, Mich., Nov. 12, 2010 - The law firm of Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge is pleased to announce the hiring of a five new attorneys. Scott P. Gordon, Jeremy J. Nastoff, and Lindsay M. Weber have joined the firm's Traverse City office. And Megan M. Hard and Megan E. Smith have joined the firm's Grand Rapids office.
Scott Gordon
Scott joined the firm's Traverse City office and practices in the areas of commercial litigation, insurance litigation, insurance coverage, transportation and no-fault law, construction litigation, and personal injury law. He holds a bachelor's in music degree, magna cum laude, from Cornerstone University and a Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law.
Megan Hard
Megan joined the firm's Grand Rapids office and practices in the areas of health law and medical malpractice defense. She holds a bachelor's degree, with honors, in political theory and constitutional democracy from the James Madison College of Public Affairs at Michigan State University and a Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law.
Jeremy Nastoff
Jeremy joined the firm's Traverse City office and practices in the areas of bankruptcy law, banking and finance law, and real estate law. He holds a bachelor's degree, cum laude, in accounting and business administration from Lake Superior State University and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
Megan Smith
Megan joined the firm's Grand Rapids office and practices in the areas of commercial litigation, insurance defense litigation, medical malpractice defense, legal malpractice defense, product liability defense, family law, and alternative dispute resolution. She holds a bachelor's degree with honors in social science from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law.
Lindsay Weber
Lindsay joined the firm's Traverse City office and practices in the areas of trusts and estates, probate litigation, family law, adoption law, real estate law and business law. She holds a bachelor's degree, cum laude, in political science from Albion College and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law.
Continued Growth
In the past several months, all three of the firm's offices around the state have seen growth. In September, Veronique Liem joined the firm's Ann Arbor office and Robert Suarez joined the firm's Grand Rapids office.
