Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge Welcomes New Associates
Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge has welcomed several new associates to the firm.
Jeffrey A. VanderLaan is practicing in the Business and Property Law department. Jeff is a graduate of Hope College and Michigan State University, Detroit College of Law. Benjamin H. Hammond has joined the Litigation department. Ben received his undergraduate degree at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids and his law degree from Michigan State University, Detroit College of Law. Both Jeff and Ben are returning to the firm after serving as summer associates during the summer of 2002. They will both practice out of the Grand Rapids office.
Ashley Weld Taylor has become an associate in the Ann Arbor office. Ashley attended Colby College in Vermont, received a Master of Science from the University of Vermont and her law degree from the Vermont Law School. She practices primarily in the Health Law department.
Cindy C. Boer and Michael R. Bartish have also joined the Grand Rapids office. Cindy comes to us from Denver, Colorado, where she has specialized for the last five years in the areas of medical malpractice and products liability defense. She will continue these practices at SHRR. Mike attended the University of Notre Dame and the University of Cincinnati College of Law. He has served for the last four years in the United States Army Judge Advocate General Corps, and is now a part of the Litigation department.
