Smith Haughey Welcomes Attorneys Kimberley Mitchell and Tiffany VanderKolk
Grand Rapids, Mich., February 2, 2017 — Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge is pleased to announce that attorneys Kimberley P. H. Mitchell and Tiffany R. VanderKolk have joined the firm. Kim will be joining the firm’s Holland office and Tiffany will be joining the Grand Rapids office.
Kim joins Smith Haughey’s business and real estate law practice group as a shareholder. She focuses her practice on health and welfare benefits, counseling clients on the design and maintenance of their self-insured and insured health plans, cafeteria plans, wellness programs, health reimbursement arrangements and health savings accounts.
Kim graduated from Michigan State University and went on to earn her masters from Case Western Reserve University. She then received her J.D. from Cornell Law School. Kim is licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan.
Tiffany practices in matters involving medical malpractice defense. She defends doctors, nurses, hospitals and other health care providers throughout the state of Michigan. Her work experience has provided her with a strong background in the area of litigation. Prior to joining Smith Haughey, Tiffany defended clients in civil litigation matters including workplace injuries and employment law disputes.
Tiffany graduated magna cum laude from West Virginia Wesleyan College. She then went on to earn her J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in the states of Michigan and West Virginia.
