Veronica A. Marsich

Veronica is a well-regarded health law counselor and strategic advisor to numerous health care institutions and entities. For over 15 years, she has represented leading hospitals, health care providers and physician groups of all types in health law related transactional and regulatory matters.  

Veronica assists clients with a full range of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues and related regulations and requirements. On a daily basis, she provides advice and representation on such regulatory issues as: corporate compliance, federal and state payment investigations, certificate of need and other certification issues, Recovery Audit Contractor requirements, the Stark law, HIPAA, clinical research, conditions of participation/survey, and other health care coverage and plan issues. She also counsels on transactional matters such as joint ventures and contract negotiations.

She works diligently to stay abreast of the latest developments and changes in the laws that affect health care providers. She created and regularly contributes to the blog Michigan Health Law Link. Veronica routinely provides in-house training and seminars for her clients on a variety of health law issues, as well as presents programs to health care associations and groups.

Veronica serves as Chair of the firm's Health Law Department, where she leads the group's efforts to provide the full range of transactional, counseling, claim/case management, settlement and litigation services to health care providers of all types. As Chair of the firm's Life Sciences Industry Team, Veronica works to assist health care clients with issues relating to biotechnology, clinical trials, and other issues in this emerging field.
