Adam Tountas Named Fellow of the Michigan State Bar Foundation

D. Adam Tountas, an attorney in Smith Haughey’s Grand Rapids office, was elected a Fellow of the Michigan State Bar Foundation.

The Michigan State Bar Foundation was established almost 70 years ago, working to bring recognition to the work and responsibilities of the legal community across the state. The foundation works to provide grants to support civil legal aid to those in need and, in addition, works to improve the justice system through funding. Membership in the Fellows signals professional accomplishments and dedicated service to the community.

Adam Tountas practices from Smith Haughey’s Grand Rapids office, representing a variety of clients from individuals to Fortune 500 companies. As a commercial litigator, Adam regularly appears before judges and juries throughout Michigan in complex business and corporate litigation. Additionally, Adam represents business owners in several types of employment litigation. Adam’s passion for advocacy has motivated him to take a leadership role in his community, where he serves on several non-profit Boards and Committees.
